THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE GLOW RUN

The Oak Point Glow Run was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who pledged our students and supported our school. We exceeded our $25,000 fundraising goal for school improvements, reduced field trip costs, and guest speakers.  The students did a great job!

A huge thanks to our Glow Run sponsors, who provided every Oak Point student with a Glow Run t-shirt: Ovation Orthodontics, OMS Specialists, South Lake Pediatrics, Four Hills Advisors, UBS, Dorson Aviation, Jamison Optical, and Studio L2 Pilates Wellness Center. And to the makers of GoGo SqueeZ for providing the after run snack to ALL students!

Some fun facts about the Glow Run:
Students got pledges from 41 states and 15 countries
Over 69% of students received pledges from their families and friends
Over 100 family members and friends came to cheer their student on yesterday
100% of Oak Point students ran in the Glow Run to help our school!

OAK POINT GLOW RUN

Parents! This year’s main fundraiser is the Glow Run! It’s a two-week program that kicks off with a Pep Rally on October 29.  Families will then gather pledges for every lap your student runs (30-35 laps), and we’ll celebrate at the Indoor Glow Run on November 8.  Check out this FLYER for full details.

Students will also experience an amazing character theme, MINDSPARK MYSTERY LAB! Boosterthon’s most exciting theme yet combines S.T.E.A.M skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) with character-building. While they're teaming up with the MindSpark Kids to solve mysteries, our students will learn five 21st-century character traits that will help strengthen themselves and our world.

Donations will go toward Student Experiences and to the entire two-week experience. So please help our school by reaching out to sponsors. Also, all families are invited to come out and cheer on your student at the Glow Run! Thank you for your support!

LIBRARY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We have had some wonderful volunteers in the library so far this year.  Our wonderful librarian works very hard for both Oak Point and Eagle Heights.  She is in need of some additional help, so we have added some dates to our volunteer sign up.  Thank you for your consideration!
