8/28/17 PTO Blackboard Message

WELCOME BACK   The Oak Point PTO welcomes everyone back to Oak Point Elementary for the 2017-18 school year.  This is the first of several PTO blackboard messages this school year, informing you of current PTO news and volunteer needs.

EP SPIRIT WEAR ONLINE STORE  Our Eden Prairie online spirit wear store is now open. A variety of youth and adult items are available for purchase with two different Eden Prairie logos through September 10 at midnight. Sample sizes will be available at Open House on August 30. Items will be delivered to the school approximately four weeks after the store closes.  Visit https://oakpointspirit.itemorder.com to begin your back to school shopping.

OAK POINT SPIRIT WEAR  There will not be a new Oak Point spirit wear shirt for the 2017-18 school year.  Oak Point spirit wear shirts from the 2016-17 school year will be available for purchase at Open House on August 30, along with Oak Point cinch sacks.

LUNCHROOM AND BUS  DUTY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED  Volunteers are needed through September 8 for bus duty and September 15 for lunchroom duty.  Bus duty shifts are 35 minutes long and are at school open and close.  Lunchroom duty shifts are 60 minutes long, and start times vary depending on grade level.  Sign up for a shift on our website.

OAK POINT FUN RUN SPONSORS NEEDED  The Oak Point Fun Run, powered by Boosterthon, returns to Oak Point in October 2017!  Once again, our goal is to provide each student with an Oak Point Fun Run t-shirt on the day of the event.  Students will wear their t-shirts as a symbol of pride and a year-round trophy for their achievement.  To help us provide these t-shirts at no cost to all students, we are looking for event sponsors.  If you know someone who owns a small business or works in a company who may be interested in an opportunity to advertise their business on the back of 800 t-shirts and sponsor a great community event, please have them contact Jen Santy at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or Joel Knorr at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by September 13.

There are various sponsorship levels available and we are happy to discuss options with anyone who is interested.  For as little as $200, you have the opportunity to be part of something big, show your community support, and receive low-cost advertising for your business all year long.
